Meet the Author

Though a Michigan native, and one whose heart – in part - lives on Torch Lake, Jean resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband, kids and pets.

Jean was blessed with a happy, adventuresome childhood. Raised by two loving, energetic, intelligent and faith filled parents, she was able to form close bonds and share endless fun times with her three sisters and brother, all of whom have remained close.

As a part of her studies of English Literature at the University of Notre Dame, Jean lived in London, traveled throughout Europe and learned the value of applied theology in relationships, business and communication. Having taught Language Arts at a private school outside of Philadelphia, she was able to observe the literary tastes of children and share in their delight as they learned to write creatively.

Jean’s mission is to take her life’s blessings (including a wonderful sense of humor), wrap them up in books and share them with children. It is her hope that, in reading her books, children will learn to look toward the miracles in nature and in life.
